MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Barefoot Flooring Troy, PA | Full-time
We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep our production equipment and utility systems running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy hands-on problem-solving and take pride in doing the job right, we’d love to hear from you!
What you’ll do
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery and supporting equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across the plant
• Install electrical wiring and equipment for alterations and replacements
• Troubleshoot control circuits and replace faulty electrical components
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed
• Assist with building renovations and remodeling projects
• Handle outside grounds work as needed (mowing, snow removal)
• Order parts and supplies; keep accurate maintenance records
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly equipment checklists
What we’re looking for
• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience with building or production equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Skilled with hand and power tools
• Ability to read tape measures and calipers in both metric and standard units
• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with hydraulics and industrial electrical work is a plus
• Familiarity with computer-controlled production equipment is a plus
• Willingness to wear required PPE (safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection)

LABORERS
Are you looking for a solid job with great benefits and a team that takes pride in quality craftsmanship? Cummings Lumber Company is hiring full-time Laborers for our Barefoot Flooring Plant to help create high-quality hardwood flooring used in homes across the country.
What You’ll Do:
- Move material through stages of the manufacturing process by:
- Stacking lumber, flooring, and finished products according to specifications.
- Inspecting materials for quality and identify defects.
- Bundling, banding, and palletizing finished products.
- Feeding materials into production equipment.
- Marking and grading products as needed.
- Help maintain steady production flow and support team efficiency
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
